About us… well me really.

Welcome to MD the detailer. I am Mark Damignani. I have come to the detailing world from a rather unusual path.

Upon graduating from university with a Master’s Degree in Business, I traded the Bay Street experience to apprentice with a skilled master chef. I soon discovered that I had a gift and a passion for cooking and quickly became the head chef at a very hip Toronto Trattoria. After 15 rewarding years in the city, I opted to move to Collingwood with my family and opened Trattoria Azzurra in 1999. After enjoying much success with this, we sold the business to our star employee so I could share my passion for creating great food with aspiring chefs at a local secondary school. 

Between teaching cooking and coaching hockey, I enjoyed a good career but found I missed the thrill of the gratification experienced by a “happy customer”.  I have translated that passion into the detailing industry which I have done during my summers off the last 4 years.

 As a chef and restaurant owner, I prepared every meal myself. I always used quality ingredients, never leaving the art with someone else. As a detailer, I am applying the same winning philosophy. I do all the work myself, using only the best industry products! Some might refer to me as a control freak. However, I take enormous pride in my work and won’t leave anything to chance.
